Meet the Founder: Shagufta Aslam

Shagufta Aslam, founder of Kids Learn Tools

Hi, I am Shagufta Aslam, the founder and writer behind Kids Learn Tools. I am an educator with 8 years of teaching experience at both school and college level.

Education

  • M.Ed (Master of Education) — Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF)
  • MSc Sociology — Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), with HRM, NGO Management and Social Work as special subjects

Teaching Experience

Over 8 years in the classroom, I have taught students at school and college level. Working with learners of different ages showed me that children learn best through regular practice, play, clear instructions and lots of encouragement. My background in education and sociology also helps me understand how home and school support work together in a child’s learning.

Why I Started Kids Learn Tools

I started Kids Learn Tools to give parents, teachers and homeschoolers simple, free resources that actually help children practice early skills — handwriting, math facts, reading, spelling and creative writing — without logins, apps or cost.

How I Create Our Resources

  • Every tool and worksheet is planned around what children in Pre-K to Grade 5 are expected to learn.
  • I use my classroom experience to keep activities short, clear and age-appropriate.
  • Each tool is tested on phones, tablets and computers before it goes live.
  • Feedback from parents and teachers helps me improve and add new tools.
